The name Mona Medina was first recorded in ancient text, dating back to the Roman occupation of this region, with reference to the hills overlooking Baia Mare to the North. Views of these picturesque hills, now called Magura, are available from the two upstairs bedrooms of our house.

 

Our house is situated in the old area of Baia Mare in a quiet street. The town centre is only a short drive away or a 15 minutes stroll through quiet residential area.
